Possibly the best hostel Iu2019ve stayed in. Rooms and bathrooms are kept super clean. The beds are really comfortable, with a privacy curtain, shelf, lamp and plug socket, hanging hooks and a spacious locker underneath.
The garden and roof terrace are lovely - space to sunbathe, workout, and cosy corners for chatting or watching a movie.
Thereu2019s no organised group activities but I think helps to keep things peaceful (eg no bar crawls!). Staff are friendly and able to book buses/tours.
What a great hostel! Itu2019s a green oasis in a city that can be busy, especially around the holidays. The courtyard is beautiful, the pool is comfy, and the volcano views from the rooftop are incredible! We stayed in a private room and the bed was super comfy. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond to make us comfortable and answer our questions. Highly recommend, especially if natural and chill is your vibe.
LOVE this hostel! No complaints. The staff are so kind and genuine. The actual hostel itself is stunning and so blissful with such a beautiful rooftop patio, nice and clean pool, plants, hammocks, etc. Such a vibe! The hostel was very clean, I stayed in a 6 bed female dorm and the entire room and bathroom were cleaned top to bottom, including sheets changed on bed, every day. I also did the extra little bit of the money to include breakfast, which was so tasty and nutritious. Highly recommend!
Casi casa is really nice and pretty, the rooftop is beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are clean, but DO NOT DRINK THE FILTERED WATER!! I came down with a nasty stomach bug my second night here after drinking the filtered water straight from the communal jug, and ended up having to be hospitalized (turned out to be typhoid fever and a parasitic infection).
Wouldnu2019t necessarily tie it to the water at Casi Casa, but there have been two other reviews of guests here who came down with food poisoning in the
Went with my boyfriend to get away from the party hostels. It was amazing!!! The vibe was so chill, the place is insanely cute (plants everywhere, many places to relax, hamacs, rooftop); thereu2019s a pool & a sauna which are perfect to back and forth into. The hostel is kind of far from the city centre (10 mins walk) compared to the other hostels we went to, but it was cool to explore another part of Antigua. Highly recommend the restaurants Red Koi Guatemala thatu2019s nearby (very good quality/ quantity for what you pay) as well as La Familia Pizzeria y Panaderia just around the corner, where the owner is cool and the pizza was great. The beds were the most comfortable weu2019ve had in all of Guatemala so far! Best sleep weu2019ve had in a while. Anyway, I highly recommend this place to anyone. :)
